Abstract

This paper examines the prospects and challenges of online mediation in India. The study highlights the advantages of online mediation, such as convenience, cost-effectiveness, and accessibility, especially in a country as diverse and vast as India. However, the study also identifies several challenges, including technical difficulties, security and confidentiality issues, and the need for parties to have access to technology. Additionally, the study highlights the cultural and social barriers that may make online mediation less effective in certain regions of India.
