An artistic study of Sidi Belghit's dwirya at the Knadessa Ksar in Bechar - southwest of Algeria

Abstract

This research study aims at highlighting the artistic and aesthetic value of the dwellings (Dwiryat) of Ksar Al-Knadessa and preserving its unique architectural identity, the significant deterioration that threatens its survival, in addition to the lack of studies that touched this unique aesthetic architectural style. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out an artistic research of these dwellings in order to protect and preserve them, and highlight their structural and technical ele-ments and components.
