Studies centring on the Indian Diaspora set vivacious records on the diversity of experiences and the mélange of cultural connections. Likewise, it also gauges the socio-political anxieties that overshadow much of the migratory journeys to other countries. However, the most vivid representations of migration, diaspora, alienation belongingness and their related aspects can be found in literature. A great deal of critical and scholastic attention has already been lavished on Indian fiction writers on diaspora and migration like Anita Desai, Bharati Mukherjee, Jhumpa Lahiri, V.S. Naipaul, Salman Rushdie, Kiran Desai, Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni, Rohinton Mistry, Vikram Seth andAmitav Ghosh among others
