The possibility of achieving an IS-LM balance (money market and financial market balance) in the Iraqi economy

Abstract

This research aims to review the importance of the issue of coordination between the fiscal
and monetary policies by addressing the theoretical framework for this coordination, and clarifying
the mutual influence between the two policies, as well as conducting a literary survey of
developments in the economic literature with regard to the issue of coordination. This research also
deals with the determinants of coordination between the two policies, And the institutional
arrangements and implementation mechanisms necessary for this coordination efficiency. So that
achieving a balance between monetary and financial policies in the Iraqi economy can create an
imposition for the advancement of the Iraqi economy towards stability, growth and facing challenges.
