Abstract

An anticipated 216 million cases of 2019 coronavirus illness (COVID-19) have been confirmed, with 4.49 million deaths. The development of diabetes and its associated consequences have been described in persons with and without a family history of the disease. Some researchers have found that focusing on wearable technology is the most effective strategy for spotting cases of newly diagnosed diabetes. The COVID-19 pandemic prompted a flurry of activity as scientists sought for the virus's distinguishing characteristics in the hope of developing a treatment or vaccine.
