This study was based on an explanation of the corruption of contracts related to marriage according to Imam Al-Shafi’i in his book Al-Umm, and its comparison with other schools of jurisprudence, in order to reach the cause of its corruption according to Imam AlShafi’i and not others, The study showed the disagreement between the jurists and the statement of the most correct of them based on the strength of the evidence of the doctrine, and the evidence proved the cause of the dispute and addressing the significance of each evidence from the book or the Sunnah
