Abstract

Criminals do not look at the age limit because human behaviour manifested as an act sometimes creates unrest for the community, which is called a crime. Criminal law views that anyone who commits a crime should be subject to criminal sanctions. However, the application of criminal law is also required to consider the limitations of the fundamental rights of Indonesian citizens as a whole without being reduced in the slightest, even with the status of a prisoner. This study focuses on criminal law policies in fulfilling the rights of elderly prisoners from the perspective of Human Rights Human.
