Memory Self-efficacy in University Students

Abstract

The current research aims at exploring 1. Memory self-efficacy of university students. 2. Statistically significant differences in memory self-efficacy according to gender (male, female) and specialization (scientific, humanity). To achieve these objectives, the researcher has adopted a memory self-efficacy scale, which consists of (17) items, and it is exposed to a group of experts to judge the validity of its items. However, the psychometric properties of the scale have been ascertained by administering the scale to the research sample that consists of (400) male and female students from the University of Wasit according to the variables of gender, specialization, they are selected by using the stratified random method.
