Abstract
In recent times, trafficking in cultural property, its looting and destruction, is one of the main threats to the heritage of all mankind. Proceeds from the sale of cultural property are often used to finance terrorist activities (Berger, 2018; Neil Brodie, 2017; Neil Brodie & Sabrine, 2018; Hausler, 2018).
