Agriculture is one of the areas that help Vietnam's economy and the people's lives in poverty alleviation and national food security stabilization. In the past decades, Vietnam's agriculture has made great strides in development. First of all, it can be mentioned the steady progress in productivity and increase in rice production in small households in the 1990s. To achieve the above, the important role of Ho Chi Minh's Ideology in the development and application of policies to encourage and support agricultural development cannot be denied.
