This research focuses on reconceptualization of wewengkon land which is then linked through a theoretical approach to Wener Menski. The focus of this research is considered important because the wewengkon land of the Kasepuhan Kasultanan Cirebon as a hereditary land has been conceptualized as a self-governing land, which led to a conflict between the Cirebon City Government and the Cirebon Kasepuhan Sultanate and the cultivators. The problem of this research is how to reconceptualize the land of Wewengkon Kasepuhan Cirebon as a land of customary rights based on justice.
