Groundwater is an important water resource and an ideal alternative to surface water, especially in the dry areas. In order to clarify the importance of this resource and the reason for resorting to it despite the presence of a water source, which is the Babylon Jadwel (Creek), we decided to study and analyze the various natural and human phenomena in the region and clarify their impact on the distribution of well sites as well as their impact on the waters in the Babylon Creek, in addition to analyzing samples from Creek water and groundwater alike to show the impact of the quality of this water on different uses (drinking, agriculture, industry), especially that the region is predominantly agricultural in nature, evident in the spread of many orchards in it.
