Confucian Temple is not only a substantial space in the traditional sense, but also a spatial entity for cultural creation and inheritance. It is a typical cultural space with cultural, spatial and temporal characteristics. Taking Ningyuan Confucian Temple in Yongzhou, Hunan Province as an example, this paper studies the production structure of ancient Chinese cultural space applying the social space production theory of French philosopher Lefebvre and other domestic and foreign cultural space research theories.
