This research shows the geopolitical importance and its regional and international dimensions to the territory of Gibraltar. The region gained this importance through its geostrategic and geopolitical location due to its long-term regional and international political and economic impacts in the world as it represents the most important commercial navigation routes in the world linking the Mediterranean Sea to the Atlantic Ocean and the bridge linking the African continent and Europe Through which most of the oil tankers and merchant ships carrying various types of goods and merchandise pass from the Middle East to European and American countries across the Atlantic Ocean.
