This study reveals the flaws in the candidacy policy against women that have yet to be addressed. On the other side, this policy allows candidates to fulfill the 30% quota quickly. In the 2014 and 2019 general elections, Indonesia's women's nomination policy was introduced, with a 30% plan for female legislative candidates. However, according to the final results, legislative seats for women are still unfilled. This study was described using an exploratory qualitative methodology, and a literature review looked into the findings and practices of the 30% women's quota policy.
