The tensile strength and abrasion resistance of the subgrade soils have a direct and significant influence on the longterm performance of pavement constructions. In-situ subgrades usually are unable to offer the necessary support to attain and acceptably perform under the traffic loads that is being demanded by an ever-increasing number of environmental regulations.In this instance, we are using bitumen emulsion in conjunction with soil in order to boost the durability of pavements as well as their lifespan.
