Notice on authorship, accountability and intellectual property
As regards authorship and intellectual recognition, authors are advised that the journal shall conform to and promote best professional practice as defined by the British Sociological Association’s Authorship Guidelines for Academic Papers.
Accepted manuscripts are edited by the journal’s in-house copy-editors, and returned to their authors, or their designee, for approval. Authors are responsible for all statements made in their work, including changes made during editing and production that they have authorized.
Copyright of an article published in Res Militaris, whether as is or in translation into any language, is automatically transferred to the journal. In cases where permission is subsequently granted for third parties to use the copyrighted material in any form or publication outlet, such copyright license shall contractually provide for royalties of €600.– paid to Res Militaris.
