This research discusses the significance of indigenous dances as an expressionistic tool utilized to capture, express, embody, and formulate a people's culture. Specifically, the study focuses on the Applai indigenous dances of Solana, Cagayan in the Philippines which have a symbolic meaning that articulates their identity, relationships, thoughts, moods, motivation, and attitudes.
