We seek to give a thorough examination of the trade-offs and performance of a few typical hybrid blockchain database systems. We implement Veritas and BlockchainDB from the ground up in order to accomplish this goal. We offer two flavours of Veritas to cater to the application situations of crash fault-tolerant (CFT) and byzantine faulttolerant (BFT).
