The main topic of this study was to assess the current situation of tourism in Lebanon and to identify and interpret the actual case of how the tourism industry can benefit from economic development projects in Lebanon. The main problem is that Lebanon is incapable of properly using natural and cultural assets despite its very rich potential. To analyze the situation, we conducted a study by surveying data collection methods since we want to propose a solution for an existing problem through action research. This mode of inquiry required interviews, reaching out to 28 experts in the field of tourism and other complementary sectors. As such, the research was cross-sectional since the investigation was conducted for one time only, with purposive sampling.
