The objective of the study was to synthesize the different studies on the relevance of communicative skills in education. The methodology used was the bibliographic review, considering to create a complex panorama of diverse theoretical elements, to analyze the scientific knowledge about the importance of communicative skills in education within five years, considering 50 articles. Part of the results infers that communicative competence focuses on the ability to use defined information for language processing.
