Visible light communication (VLC) systems use EPPM modulation in indoor environments, therefore, in this study, the alternative procedure of using turbo product codes together with bit interleaving will be analyzed, in order to improve communication with the presence of thermal noise and shot noise in the bit error rate, as well as the inter-symbolic interference of a VLC system.
