Abstract

Islamic work ethics is a concept of ethics that is based on Islamic teaching and principles which rely on faith. Muslims believe that ethics are revealed from Allah and are mentioned in the holy Quran, and thus they aim to Allah. Meanwhile, a great organization is related to the employees’ attachment and their behavior towards the organization. A structural model was constructed to test the effects of Professional values (NP), Moral competence (KM) and Integrity (INT) on Islamic work ethics (EK). 400 schoolteachers as respondents randomly selected in Perlis, Kedah and Penang were involved in this research. They were given a five-point Likert scale questionnaire. The study found that the structural model is acceptable in terms of validity and reliability and thus can be used to measure the relationship between four variables.
