Abstract

This article argues that symbolism should be seen as a representation of itself and the poet's mind, which makes his poem significant and unique. This analysis looks at six poems to show how the seasons uniquely represent the poets' minds and how the symbolism in the poems is significant to the reader. Spring traditionally symbolizes rebirth, a new beginning, optimism, and happiness.
