This research aims to discover the authority of the police in dealing with criminal acts of terrorism and the factors influencing terrorism crimes. A normative research was applied in this research by conducting library research. This study is hoped to provide information to legal academics who are experts in the subject of this study, and it is expected to be particularly valuable in the development of criminal legislation in the sphere of terrorism. In addition, this research is also intended to be useful to law enforcement authorities in dealing with terrorismrelated crimes. In addition, this research can be used as a source of information and a description of the difficulties encountered in the practice of dealing with terrorism-related offences.
