The Turkish Strategy towards the Middle East and its Repercussions on Neighboring Countries, Syria (as a model)

Abstract

The distinguished position that Turkey enjoys in the Middle East, with its geopolitical characteristics, has earned it the strength and ability to add these characteristics in all their aspects (natural and human) in favor of its strategy towards the countries of the region so that it has an effective role at all levels. In the first topic, the researcher dealt with the natural and human characteristics to highlight the Turkish weight in dealing with the role of the neighborhood (Syria). He also dealt with the roles that Turkey played with its neighbor through political options or through its dealings with armed groups inside Syrian territory and its position towards Syrian refugees.
